Hardy Hibiscus love the sun (minimum of 6 hours a day) and need
moist, well drained soil.  They are slow to emerge in the Spring, but
more than make up for it with their vigorous growth rate once the
weather warms up.  The blooms will range from 6-12" across
depending on variety.  They get from 4-5 feet tall and 3-4 feet wide.
Hibiscus prefer full sun and fertile moist soil.   They go dormant
during the winter months and die back. Cut back old branches to the
ground in Spring.
